Congratulations to the Ratepayers Association for helping raise the profile on this issue. I used to be a member of your organisation and somehow let my membership slip, so I feel embarrassed that I am not still there helping with this. I will immediately send of my subscription and call upon all othe residents and ratepayers to do likewise. It sounds to me that a small hydro electric powerstation at Trevallyn Dam itself is a 'no brainer'because all of that water would be allowed to run down the Cataract Gorge as it is supposed to, and if it can be re-used at the Duck Reach station, then that means after powering Poatina, it is used twice more - fantastic.
