After four-and-a-half years as Maroondah Council’s chief executive, Frank Dixon announced last week he would be stepping down from the position.
The 33-year veteran of local government said it had been a “great pleasure” to lead council but he would not seek reappointment when his contract ends in July.
“I will be taking some time to travel with my wife, spend more time with our families and to discover new opportunities and challenges,” Mr Dixon said.
Maroondah Mayor Les Willmott thanked Mr Dixon for his exemplary leadership.
