The Council has presented no coherent reason(s) to ratepayers explaining why their assets (the land proposed to be gifted to the University) should not be either rented, leased or sold to the interested party, in this case the University.
Why wasn't the asset put to tender?
Why is giving away a ratepayer asset the preferred Council option when the asset may be used to earn income?
